On 02 Mar 2010, Dr Christopher Chia, the Chief Executive Officer of Media Development Authority of Singapore has paid a visit to TQ Global and its subsidiaries. He was accompanied by his management team, the entourage includes Mr. Kenneth Tan, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Yeo Chun Cheng, Chief Information Officer and Mr. Lim Chin Siang, Director of IT & Technology. The visit gave a good insight into TQ Global works and achievements. Dr. Chia was impressed with its various creative development and successes in many fields. Dr. Chia was especially impressed with the in-house game being developed by TQ Motor team, a 3D intense racing game made in Singapore. He mentioned that it was a fantastic experience and needing the game and TQ Global other profiles to be showcase in various MDA events such as the MIPTV in Cannes in April 2010 and World Expo in Shanghai in June 2010.

The entourage also consisted of various MDA departments including Corporate Communications, International Relations and Communications. The MDA officers were eager to learnt about TQ Global’s next generation Digital Servers as well as OLDA (On Location Digital Advertising) facilities. Such made in Singapore technologies both in Hardware .and Software were good focus points in putting Singapore into the fore-front of the Media Industry and being Asia’s Media Hub. The team was also amazed with the extend and depth of the research and development being done in TQ Global. The various next generation technology were developed by teams in TQ Global within the time frame that is not easily achieved within the industry.
