June 15, 2010, BroadcastAsia, Singapore – ACDN and FCCE today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a broad range of collaboration to create a Global Digital Content Depository in Singapore with a backup site in Europe.

Under the terms of the MOU, the scope of the strategic alliance will include joint digital content library, cooperative marketing to customers worldwide and the use of technologies developed by Digital Film technology Laboratory (DFTLab) in Singapore.

“This strategic collaboration provides an excellent platform to open up new markets and market segments which content owners can monetize their locked away content.” said Raymond Neoh, Founder and Director, ACDN.

The depository will include the newly digitised content from FCCE library consisting of at least 12,000 hours of high quality, exclusive and original Hollywood-related content. A  technologically advanced facility will be set up at FCCE premise and will serve as the Digital Content Gateway for Europe for European market which its counter part is setup in Singapore and serve as the Digital Content Gateway for Asia.

Digital Film Technology Laboratory (DFTLab)

DFTLab (Digital Film Technology Laboratory) is setup as a research and development facility for digital cinema industry.
